Course Description: This presentation reviews translational findings from nonhuman to human basic research for the purpose of stimulating the development of behavioral technologies.*
Objectives:
- Understand the matching law, including basic and generalized matching equations.
- Learn the variables influencing choice, preference and response allocation, including practical applications and implications for treatment.
- Understand the behavioral model of self-control, including implications and treatments for individuals diagnosed with ADHD.
- Learn to use a framework for designing function-based Interventions based on matching theory.
