Course Description: Many Board Certified Behavior Analysts® are familiar with supervisory responsibilities, but fewer become mentors or exhibit true leadership qualities. This presentation examines the differences between supervision, mentorship and leadership, the specific behavior and expected outcomes that define each of these and how to select and track measures that determine successful supervision, mentorship and leadership.


Objectives:

  • Operationally define supervision, mentorship and leadership
  • Identify practices that define supervision, mentorship and leadership
  • Give examples of supervisor, mentor and leader behavior

Rating: This course is recommended for BCBAs and BCaBAs, especially those who are eligible supervisors, having already completed the 8-hour supervisory training requirement.
