Course Description: A feeding disorder is characterized by restricted food intake, limited variety and the presence of inappropriate behaviors. As up to 90 percent of children with autism exhibit feeding problems, the current state of the science related to the identification and remediation of feeding disorders among children is presented. Provides a resource for understanding the complex, multidisciplinary approach to treating feeding problems and the use of data-based decision making to inform treatment selection for feeding disorders with case examples.
