Behavior Analysis Essentials: A 40-hour Behavior Technical Training

Time limit: 179 days 40.0 credits

 

Behavior Analysis Essentials includes all tasks from the Registered Behavior Technician® Task List (2nd ed.), including the RBT Ethics Code (2.0), and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for RBT certification. The program is offered independent of the BACB®. It provides video lectures, demonstrations and student responding exercises to facilitate learning. Also included is the opportunity to practice skills specified on the RBT Task List (2nd ed.).

Students have 180 days from the date and time of registration to complete the course. Students may not complete the training in fewer than five days. These restrictions are set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® and cannot be altered for any reason.

Refund Policy

The student registered for the course may request to drop the course as long as it is within 30 days of registration and they have not completed anything beyond Module 2. To officially drop the course and receive a refund, please contact rbt@fit.edu and request the drop survey. The completed drop survey must be received within this time period to be dropped from the course and to receive a refund. The refund is returned to the credit card that was used to pay for the training.

Important Information

Please be very careful when creating your profile on the shopping cart. Once created, a shopping cart profile cannot be edited by either the student or the staff of Florida Tech. If information is entered incorrectly, a new account will have to be created.

This training program is based on the RBT Task List (2nd Ed.) and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for RBT certification. The program is offered independent of the BACB. This course provides only the 40-hour training. For all other requirements for RBT certification, please read the RBT Handbook - located at www.bacb.com.

This training course is one requirement of several towards certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®.  As of January 1, 2023, the BACB accepts certification applications from individuals who reside in the following authorized countries: United States (US), Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom (UK).  Please visit the BACB website for more information.
